If it's overboosting you have to start with the basics and think how the system works
Did you datalog with the scantool?
Watch the wastegate actuator and see what it does when you over boost. Start knocking things off your list of what could cause this one by one

Time to get "torked" I guess? The over boost with no limp mode....
Bit off topic but that same thing has happened to a family members ford fusion ecoboost. Not sure of cause or fix but he goes to accelerate and it just falls flat then he let off and stomped on it nothing. Did it again and car took off and almost rear ended someone.... ford couldn't find a problem with it....
Before any "torking" is done, The issue would need to be fixed before a tune would be introduced.

I wonder if your wastegate is sticking or something ?

sucks that its virtually impossible to remove the wastegate actuator without really getting into removing the turbo

Found something interesting.. My friend suggested putting the stock intake and filter back on and try it out. So I did and guess what, no more limp mode! I reverted back to the cone filter on stock tubing and the problem happened right away. So the car is not liking the high flow filters... Or maybe it does? Maybe it likes them too much lol.. I'm going to install the 6th element sri and try deleting adaptive values right away one more time and cross my fingers!

What intake and filter were you using
That just seems really strange
Plus giving the fact we are running map sensors really puts a twist on your theory. Either way it is what it is

The stock airbox and filter maybe slows the spool down enough to not over boost? Lol I have no idea but I'm pretty confused on this whole issue.

Have you taken my advice and logged as you do this?
You have to take note of what you are reading so u have a point of reference.
When you have the intake setup in that you are saying is causing issues
-map sensor reading
-wastegate percentage
-throttle
-afr
-timing

When you change it to the setup that you are saying makes it better. Compare the readings

You will find that doing this will narrow your results and help your diagnosis
Changing parts back and forth is fine and dandy, but what if you are just masking the issue

Overboosting can be cause by various things
Excessive exhaust flow (but your are stock so that's unlikely since your fuel maps etc. are stock)
Internal failure
Faulty map sensor
Faulty wastegate actuator
Faulty wastegate solenoid
The list can be carried on and on.

You need to be careful here because overboosting can really do some damage in the long run.
Post what you find and I will keep helping the best I can

Yeah I'm working on it at home right now I don't have a lot of diagnostic capabilities today. I guess I can get some basic stuff with torque. But won't be able to see the wastegate and such.

I'm guessing since you were at a meet and racing your all fixed up now
Can you please update your findings
I would also like to know for personal future reference
Thanks

Guys I need some help quickly..Can someone try to make this problem happen to their car? I thought I fixed it but I didn't. 2nd gear at 30mph and floor it a few times and see if it cuts power. I have an open tech line case and they said it may be normal operation. If you could get fuel pressure for me too that would be awesome!

How many is a few? Maybe it is acting normal

As you saw on the video it was on the second pull.. maybe 5 or 6 pulls should be enough to determine. Mine is happening often, if it's normal operation im trading it in. Lol..

I took the time to do this on my personal car and the 3 off the lot and none of them did it

And lol .. The notorious tech line "it's normal" comment
Surprised they didn't tell you to apply Stabilant 22 and retest

are you a hard driver? maybe its driving style?

i have to go through 6 stop signs and a couple of traffic lights and i dont get a lag situation ever... im usually not hard at all on my car...

maybe if you've pulled quite a bit really hard may be your BOV isnt functioning properly and your computer is triggering the waste gate or something

have you messed with the boost line thats connected between the waste gate solenoid and the turbo ?

I was asked to log the fuel rail pressure during the stall.. it was around 1890psi and slowly dropping as the rpms fell.. I am willing to bet no one here pushes theirs as hard as me. I race at every opportunity and even last night I took it to do some 1/8 mile racing.. this problem cost me a race I knew I could win which really sucked lol.. I have not messed with any lines btw just the resonator delete and vta.

Re check your hpfp and lpfp. Maybe the hpfp is shot

Hpfp is okay.. in the video you can hear it dump right as it stops as if I let off the gas which makes it interesting. Did I mention I was wrong about overboost? Lol well I was if I didn't.

If you only get 1890 psi there is something wrong, you should be able to get atleast over 2000psi

Fuel pressure is normal, remember this is a interrupted rev it's not fully revved up when it does this, so fuel pressure is not maxed out yet either.. I get around 2300psi on a hard pull that does not stall out or get power cut whatever is going on lol.
