2023 GT 6spd was traded for a Forte LXS, 6spd had no traction with Racechip until 50mph, rpm at 80mph was around 3400rpm, and ride was too harsh. LXS rides and drives (ivt transmission) with far more refinement, which is what I want these days.
2021 GT dct was very good but in the end the dct was just not a refined enough transmission for us. The constant head movement from on off throttle just got to be too annoying, ride was borderline with the 235/45/17 at 30psi but still stiff. The 5.4s 0-60 was always fun and the GFB bov and Evilla midpipe still created grins right up to the end. Handling was excellent and no complaints. I do feel the LXS with the Evilla rear sway bar is a bit more fun and confidence inspiring than the GT, might have something to do with the IRS vs beam axle. This was traded for the 25 Sorento, she really liked her GT but she loves her Sorento.
The 3rd 23 GT we had was the daughters boyfriend, he swapped it for a 2018 Audi S4. He simply wanted more power, sub 5 second 0-60 is making him happy. He is hoping it stays in one piece for a few years. Plus his 23 GT with Racechip GTS never matched our 21 GT with Racechip S in acceleration. It was always 3 tenths slower in 0-60 and 1/4 mile. We were impressed with how well his 23 GT rode with Eibach springs and some Nitto NT555 G2 tires.
