If I were to get a BTRcc ecu tune would it shorten the life expectancy of my 2015 kia forte koup sx ? also on BTRcc website it says HKS M45XL spark plugs and x2 W1 catch cans are required, what are W1 catch cans and what do they do ? I don't know any thing about auto mechanics

I personally would go for the Tork tune but it's your choice. It won't shorten the life of the car as long as your not beating on it as much as you can. Those spark plugs are fine to use or get the NGK race plugs. The race plugs and HKS plugs are not needed right away. I am running NGK 1422 plugs with a hot tune and they are doing great. The catch cans are ADD W1 cans. They collect all the oil vapor that would normally go through the intake.

why do you need 2 of them ? and do you have to clean the cans out every once in a while ?

I probably put down around 230whp maybe a tad more. Not to sure since I haven't done a dyno yet. Stock for the A/T I have seen from 160-180whp. Just depends on the dyno and weather and such. The car is way faster than stock and the few on here that have it can vouch for that. It's not only faster but it is smoother a few more mpg to.
