Finally getting my o2 bung welded into my downpipe. Any recommendations as to where to put the bung? I read that it should be at least 34" from the turbo, but then I read that the further away the less accurate the readings will be. I was thinking of putting it towards the end of the downpipe by the second o2 sensor. Any thoughts? Anybody else weld a o2 bung onto their downpipe for a wideband?

The closer to the turbo the more accurate, but then you have to worry about EGTs and if the sensor can consistently handle those temperatures.

Usually the gauge manufacturer will tell you the optimal placement for the sensor in their documentation somewhere. I'd start there.
