What should I expect?

I know there is a lot of these out there but as everyone should know. When you get a new item for your car you just can't help but let people know you got it! I just bought the 6th element cai and ic resonator delete pipe.

I know it's not much but it's the first 2 things I've ever gotten for any car. So what should I expect in any for of gains or how the car acts when these are installed??

On a dyno..you should see about 14 HP over stock..but what you will notus.. Most is how loud your car is on cold starts..and with the mods you will see a stronger top end over the stock intake..and the resonator delete will smooth out your mids...and you will hear some mad turbo spool.. But the intake sound is not for everyone.. Its not the most enjoyable sound but I like it.. But you won't see real gains till you get your tune..but you are on the rite track

You will notice that the turbo will be able to spool faster and throttle response will be better also. Also when you start from a stop it will sound like a jet taking off lol
I just thought about this... Does the cai from 6th come with a filter? I'm assuming yes.. But just asking. Also if it dies not come with one which would be the best to get??

Other than that. This all sounds great and makes the care more unique
Yes it comes with a filter

This is the filter it comes with. The one on the right is a injen filter from when I had the injen cai

Thank you for your order Bnelson.

The kit is a full bolt on kit, nothing extra for you to buy. Dyno runs were performed on my car stock, and after the cold air and short ram intakes were installed.
These dynos can be viewed on each product page on our website on the tab "technical specs" here:

Kia Forte SX Cold Air Intake

The power gains are shown there. I also posted these sheets in my section of this forum in the intake thread here:

Hope this helps :)

That's very nice I can't wait to get it and put it in!!!. I couldn't help but notice you guys are in GA. How long do you think shipment may take since tenassee is the only state between us?

Also during winter days. Should I keep it as a cai or set it up at a Sri?
It depends on how bad the winters get there. Out here in Cali I always leave it as a CAI. I haven't had a issue with it yet. Just don't go though deep puddles with it as a CAI
Well on avg it's like 15-25F( I think). I dunno maybe 32F range lol. With snow every now and then.
I should be able to get you package out today and I think the UPS label said Wednesday delivery. So you should get it Wednesday/Thursday for sure :)

Also, I would only witch to SRI mode if you have to travel through deep puddles of water. Other than that you can leave it CAI all the time. Outside temps don't matter :)
Oh sweet, that means it will be here on one of my days off. I hate getting new things and not being able to install them as soon as I get them lol

I feel your pain on that one!

You will love the new intake. Feels like a different car once on. Just be ready for people to stare at you lol

I got my cai last night and holy crap... This thing is a beast! I love the sound. It was a bit of a pain to get it in (tried without taking the bumper off.. Good luck). But in the end it wasn't too bad of a process! Thanks for the day delivery 6th! I still need to do the delete pipe. As I forgot my jack at home and my buddy didn't have one :(
