I use stuff from 3d products. I get it at a local detail store. I also use meguires stuff to. i will have to get the actual name of the product that i use on both. I cant remeber lol
Very good question, I was thinking same myself. I have for last 15 years used mothers but on the Forte, I not sure if dealership put something on but on some areas , it looks all streaky after using mothers, looks like crap.... it's faded now and haven't had a chance to give the car a good cleaning again yet.... not sure if the dealership used a different product and it will get better or if I have to use something else....
Fortunately being in the business, i have not washed my car in years. Besides here and there when i need to get it done for whatever reason. I have my Recon department wash and detail my car every friday. I absolutely hate washing my car so I'm glad to have it like i do
I like having a clean car but this time of year it is impossible to keep it clean. Then the first day or two, I try avoiding other cars and don't drive as often. I think if I had my own wash bay. I'd wash my car few times a week but spending $10 at the car wash then having car getting all dirty again on drive home seems like a waste.
I use Lyso disinfectant wipes which I probably shouldn't because it has harmful chemicals that could eat through the dash materials. This is what I heard.
Ewwww Armor All Ewwwww! Hate that stuff and it smells weird to. I use a multipurpose shine/protectant from the local detail shop. It doesn't leave it greasy and smells good. When I am done cleaning the inside I spray a scent on the floors under the front seats. I don't like the little wafers they use at the car washes around here so I do it all myself now.
I would like to bring this up again.. and I just have one question.. what product are you guys using on the squishy dash pad.. to keep it dark and rich..? all I have been doing is dusting.. and using a wet cloth.. with water on it
