Waduupp guys, a couple of months ago i bought a Turbosucks 3.5" sri, i decided to modify it just a bit!

I didnt like the 2 pieces design, so i had it welded and had a custom heatshield done

I only have to powdercoat it and its all done

i didnt know your company back then loll
Its a friend who did it for me, hes good with metal and a welding machine
Seriously, your friend needs to start producing those for sale. I'd pay $50 for that after I get my 6th Element SRI.

One more note: Salt much? ;)

I told him and he dodnt believed me that it would sell!

And yeah we have a lot of salt here
show him this thread.. tell him to make 3 of them, and off them for 50 bucks and see how fast they go.. tell him I want one fitted for the 3inch piping lol
Nice work! I'm ordering my CAI next week, but if I could get a good box to shield any heat from the SRI... I'd go that route!

Winter and Salt suck, I'm ready for spring!!
@mikex.18 You should have him contact 6th Element and see if they couldn't work out some kind of arrangement together. What a combo that would be! Given that the distribution stream is already setup by 6th, all your friend would have to do would be produce them and ship them to 6th Element. Maybe a consignment basis or something...

(Sorry, got a little ahead of myself. Just get him to make 5 of them and put them up here for sale. I bet they'd be gone within a week.)
Does it seal against the hood? I would buy one if it does. Can put some molding on it like my k&n for my suv has. I will be going to a Sri when I do my fmic.

I will buy one!

No, it doesnt! I will put some rubber hose on the edges to look better, and protect the powder coat on the SRI!
You can get weather stripping that "clips" onto door frames. That might work better than hose. Probably similar to what k&n uses.
SOLD! Ill buy one like NOW! Name your price!
My buddy sent me this! Ill install it tomorrow
