Hey all!!

So I contacted a local shop out here in cali if they think some of their parts will fit the koup/5 that they have for the VT. Well he emailed me back pretty excited and said he wants my car tomorrow asap when they open at 10am. He wants to see what will fit my car from the VT. The shop is called pierce motorsports. He is a vendor on velosterturbo.org and if all goes well I want to talk to him about joining here to offer the parts to us! He does a lot of suspension work and currently has a time attack VT. If it does go good tomorrow I will have some goodies to share and a full turbo back exhaust from him done. I will definitly take pictures of each part we test that fits the car and post them up here for all to see.

If I can swing it next thursday 10/23 is a autocross event that he is throwing and is going to teach people to drive their cars on the track. I will try to make that and see what kind of track numbers the 5 can do with stock tires and with his parts installed. The track we are going to be at is willow springs here in cali

Hey I read that Tork is going to be in Cali this month doing tunes for the Veloster, they are looking for someone with a Forte for a free tune. Not sure if you can or are interested but here is the threads, may be worth it to contact them and see if they can tune you, then we can get some canned tunes.

Forgot to mention we are testing so far their upper strut bars and lower tie bars along with their down pipe and whatever else Jim wants to try and install. I am going to get the turbosocks collar kit ordered right now to try also. If everything fits I will be posting those pics asap!

As of right now we are goin b to see if the veloster down pipe works first. If it does he is going to set an appointment for me to come back and do a full 3" exhaust. I am not sure if he wants to make a full kit for exhaust yet or not. I can ask him though. Yes I am getting tuned from tork next weekend. He is using my car as the base to see what kind of tune he can do on it. I will take pictures of that being done also next Saturday. I am really excited to have these guys work with us to get us some killer parts!

Pierce does want to make parts for us. We just have to see what will fit tomorrow that would crossover to our car. If the downpipe fits you can order on his site. I am wanting one with the cat just in case since I am in cali

I am not to sure on noise wise but the cel is a big issue with me. It irritates me seeing it lol

Are you going with 2.5" or 3" with your exhaust? I'm leaning towards 3" on mine but haven't decided for sure. Also, looking forward to hearing clips of yours when it's done.

As of right now I am not sure. I see a lot of velosters with 3" so might do that. I will take a video once I get it all mounted up and drive it around for a few to break in the cat and muffler. I was thinking to do the hfdp to a 3" round magnaflow muffler to dual 3" or dual 2.5" tips.

Lol, thats exactly what I'm thinking on mine. I've been staring at that downpipe and checking out videos all week and IMO the ones with a catted downpipe and a magnaflow exhaust sound the best. Although, I think I read some where that Pierce runs a 2.5" exhaust on the Veloster he tracks. It'll be interesting to see what he recommend for yours.

I am actually going to see his car tomorrow. If he recommends 2.5 then I will probably do that. I am hoping he can do my exhaust tomorrow if he has time. I really want to get it done before the hanfest show I am going to

Looks like were in a similar boat. My 845 motorsports dp will be here Monday and I've got a set of modified turbosocks collars on my car

Nice! I will have the dp on today and full exhaust for sure.

What did you have to do with the collars. I am orderin b them today. I hope they work good with the other parts that are going to be test fitted today. I am hoping the chassis braces work along with upper strut bars.
