So in an attempt to do some cable hiding, I tried to take the A pile cover off, but got held up by a green piece of plastic that was relentless. Anybody know how to deal with this piece without snapping it in two? (See Pictures) The cover only comes out a couple of inches. I would like to be able to fully remove the cover.

Just yank real hard. I had to remove mine when I installed my dash cam

That's exactly what I was doing. I ended up just dropping the cable through the gap.
