A few of us local WA. drivers met up @ Hooters in Tacoma to officially meet each other, some already knew of others but some of us are new to the group and was a great way to have introductions. It was a great night filled with information, jokes, current build idea's and just having a lot of positive attitude and excitement made this night a lot of fun. Thanks to everyone that showed up @Badfish69, @Craig & Spencer F. and @T.Love

I tried to tag as many of you before the meet to invite but only know of a few in the area. We will try to make this a regular thing and hopefully this summer make a BBQ out of it :D lol with everybody local there to have a great time with friends and family. Be sure to say something below so i don't forget to tag you in the next get together :)

Nice.

I think the stock wheels are underrated. They're pretty nice looking after having aftermarket ones on mine for the last 2 years.

I was just thinking the other day that Kia did a pretty good job with their first 'hot hatch' in giving it some performance but also the styling cues with it. I've been watching a lot of videos on the Renault Clio RS and I really see a lot of similarities between the two cars; so much so, I want to use some of its bits on our car.

It will take forever for cute European cars to be "acceptable" in the US. Somehow Canadian market is much more interested in small hatch style than US is. Forte sells much better there. Rondo was scrapped off in the US. Elantra is also a great seller in Canada.

For the first time this year Forte was selling better than Sorento... yet still, Sorento and Optima are very close.

Renault, Peugeot, Ford (Escort), Fiat (Punto), and others... lots to choose from in Europe.

We Canadians do love our hatchbacks although it mystifies me why they didn't bring over the 3 door Fiesta ST, Civic Type R, et al. Even in regions where the Kia Pro Ceed sells there's a 3 door version. We have the Rondo redesigned released here and Nissan also brought out the Nissan Micra a few years ago. If Nissan/Renault can slap the Juke RS/Nismo engine in a Nismo version of the Micra, that would be hilariously fun. I wouldn't be surprised if the Micra shared platform with the Clio. I use to have a Toyota Echo before they became known as the Yaris and that thing was probably 2500lb with only a 1.5litre NA and 107HP, it was a fun little car. Sure it swayed like crazy in cross winds but yeah, wished a manufacturer would bring out some really light weight hot hatches like this Clio RS. I'm hoping Hyundai will see it worth their while to bring out their i20 which I guess is the Accent hatchback with the N treatment.
