Has anyone installed sub frame bushings on the Forte5?
If yes- how was your experience with them and where did you get them from?
I've seen some Genesis and Veloster links out on the web but nothing for Kia...

I guess I'm actually looking for rigid collars and not the actual bushings...
Had a bit of a brain fart.

Exactly! Do you know if these will fit the Forte?

From what I've read, they should fit. I wouldn't image Kia/Hyundai using a different size bolt/hole from the FT to the VT sub-frame. I would like to know if the mod would be as comparable to the VT or if maybe Kia noticed that problem and made it better from the factory without having to use the collars. Just a thought...

anywhere ive seen these collars for other cars, like hondas... they go in between the subframe and the body of the car.... but any hyundai or kia thing ive found, they only advertise putting them between the bolt and the subframe... seems like the "honda" way would be better...

or this is just ease of access?

the purpose of these is to keep the subframe from being able to have any movement which the collars we make do.

I would doubt the FTurbo is any different from the VTurbo in case of the tolerances. The reason the bigger diameter is there in the first place is ease of assembly at the factory. If they held the tight tolerances that we have on our collars, assembly would be a much tougher process to line up the sub-frame.

These bushings take that 1-2mm gap in each hole and reduce it to almost none.

^ the subframe is probably the same or extremely similar so the VT stuff would probably work... just have to have someone be a Guinea pig
