Hey man. That is great. Exactly what I needed to see for the bumper. My plan is to remove the upper trim to open up mouth for a better air flow to the radiator.

But one thing makes me wonder.

How did you remove the headlights without removing the bumper? I tried and they were stuck.

thanks and hope it helps i've got a little more done and still need to do clear coat paint before piecing it all back together.
the headlights are a tight fit coming out and going in. first you pull the headlight forward and slightly upward and it pops loose.
when your loose you need to do a combination of pulling back the top front of the bumper and the rear edge of the headlight needs to make its escape first.
when the rear is out and there is more slack to go forward you pull the front top part of bumper forward and it slides out in its own one way.
you have to extract and insert the headlamp like a key but once your in the zone its easy.
be very careful on your first attempt and take your time so you dont get upset and yank and worse case scratch the lamp.
my first time doing this i took like 30 min on each lamp but this time it took me 20 min for both.

Looks nice.
It really opens up the flow.

What mesh did you use?
Will it hold air flow not to mention rocks, snow, leaves?

As for the upper part, do you think the chrome could exist itself there?
I was thinking of removing the black grille and leaving the chrome. Otherwise, the bumper would look ugly.
How is that constructed?

i got the mesh from home depot its like a long sheet for like $10.
the paint i used was gloss black spray paint all in one primer and paint.
i haven't hit the hwy just yet still getting use to the feel of the 84400 and don't have enough time to feel for it yet.
for the upper part, the chrome is just a trim piece that attaches to the main piece.
without the main piece, the trim wouldn't have anything to attach itself to.
i was looking at this myself to grill and it would be difficult considering the small area being grilled out.
you would need to use a dremel to cut out the plastic fins and use some adhesive to hold down a grill within it.
not impossible but some work.

The mesh look gets "thumbs up" from me. You'll get great air flow to be certain. You kept the "theme" of the black mesh on the fogs/driving lights and the "grille" with nothing ghetto or "ricey".
Now did you manage to get the headlights back in and are the still aimed correctly?

thanks and yeah i wanted to keep it simple and even though i wanted to use the color of my rims it was difficult to find the exact color so i opted to black it out instead.
the headlights and everything is back together now i just haven't had enough drive time to assess everything. i would assume they should be alighted but i didn't check yet.
