this thing is driving me crazy. I've greased all 315 fittings (joke, but there are a few) on the pedal assembly, I've tried adjusting, and it keeps coming back.

it's not so much a squeek as a creak, and it's right at the engagement point. Sometimes it's so bad, it actually affects engagement (atleast it feels that way to me)

anyone have this issue? corrections?

I don't want to take it to the dealer for something this menial but I will

Mine squeaked pretty bad at first as well. It stopped either with time(2k miles now) or temps warming up. Either way it's not doing it right now...of course stopped right before the time I took it to the dealer for the first oil change.

I had squeaky clutch pedal on Elantra. It was due to fork being dry, additional squeak/cracked like was caused by bearing/pressure plate. There was some dirt on it and drying TOB. However, that was on a car with +50k miles

Forte is quiet.
