So, my build will be slow, and it won't be anywhere near a full build. I've done something along those lines in my younger years, but for now I just want to make my daily driver a little more fun.

I brought it home 2/16/15 and closed the deal on 2/18/15. Here are some initial pictures after my delivery detailing.

I do love that Racing Red, and strangely, the "flower" wheels are really growing on me.

Tomorrow, I'll take a quick picture of the BPV VTA mod and put it up. Thanks to the community for welcoming me with open arms. I hope to be able to contribute going forward!

Looks good! Definitely do intake, hotpipe, and exhaust. That really helps
Looks nice and to add, invest in a catch can soon if you haven't already, its a must have in a GDI-T engine.
So, is blowby such a problem in these cars because of the DI fuel?
And pics of the first mod, the BPV to atmosphere mod.

Blow by is bad on most boosted cars but since it's di, the fuel doesn't help clean the intake manifold or valves. There is 2 threads on here about catch cans if you wanted some more info or to see different set ups.
Pull that hose off the BOV and it will sound better
The red looks good..and a catch is a good idea. Just don't go cheap..and get a can that is baffled
I have the ADD W1 can and it works perfect. I put stainless steel wool in my can to help filter it better to

While the more expensive cans do a better job. Any can is better than no can IMO. If it is catching some stuff, that is stuff not going into the intake manifold.
i got my mishimoto compact can in the mail last week, need to get some 3/8 line to install it.

again, i wish my dealer had a 5 instock with the 1.6 when i got my koup. nice 5 and welcome

I hear ya on the 5. I was about to pull the trigger on a Koup but started searching while they were playing number games and saw one was only 15min away. My wife called to confirm and told them to hold it we were on our way lol

Anyways get a catch can asap!
I'll be ordering a catch can very soon then. Thanks for the advice guys!

Pulled it off this past weekend and you're right, it sounds so much better. Can't wait for the tax refund to get in so I can get a 6th EE SRI.

Got my 6th Element SRI installed today along with my baffled eBay Catch Can (I did the stainless scrubber thing). Also got my FormulaOne tint installed: 30% on the sides, 15% on the rear. Vehicle Car Motor vehicle Automotive design Automotive fuel system

Been awhile since my last post, but this past weekend I visited 845 Motorsports (they need to sign up as a vendor on here) and got their solid hot pipe replacement installed. Crappy picture, but very well made piece, nicely welded, great clamps and high quality silicon.

Hopefully, I'll soon be doing exhaust and/or tune.

that fits nice I think I would paint mine for a bit more stealth.. but connections look good.. and I bet this is the best option if you are keeping your factor intercooler
