So this is the before. It took me literally 20 minutes to install, and it was pretty painless.

And after. One thing I noticed, is that the hood doesnt open as far anymore, and its quite stiff to put down. BUT, that being said, it looks awesome, and you don't need to fiddle with your prop rod any more ;)

Some notes if you do this... The included ends on the gas shocks they give you are wrong, and need to be unscrewed and replaced with the OTHER ones they put in the bag. Not sure why they don't just come from the factory like this, but whatever. 2 second swap out.

The kit costs 90$ USD, and I think it ships free to the states, but it ended up costing me 150$ CAD.... stupid CAD.... But totally worth it. I love the way it looks and functions. I just grab onto the hood latch (no grease ) and pull down on that to shut it.

I installed the same ones and love them. The stiffness will go away after a bit. If you are always under the hood like I am working on the car they will loosen up quick

CND exchange sucks balls right now.

Should have bought it when it was around $120. I ain't paying an extra $30, lol.

OP did you keep the OEM prop? Take it off and it will shave off a pound or two, lol.
Yeah, I took the OEM prop off. Its honestly isnt that heavy haha.

Yeah, I want to get a 6th EE intake, but its really hard to justify spending the 400$ it will end up costing.... Ugh. Im getting quite a bit back at tax time though, so I may just say F it lol.

I have the 6th EE intake and it sucks.. LITERALLY! It's like a vacuum on steroids, HGH, and Andro all at once. The wife HATES it, but I LOVE it. Helps quite a bit with throttle response and seems a good bit peppier!

My co-workers call my car Hoover.
hahaha, that sounds awesome :p

I may need to invest in it then..
I've had my Redline struts mounted for almost a year and about 28k miles. Yesterday I noticed that the top of both struts on the hood side are rusting. Also, both struts have small dents on their side, where I think the hood bracket hits them. I think when the car hits a big bump, the chassis twists enough that the hood bracket hits against the strut and dents it.

They still work fine, but don't throw away your prop rod.
I have kept my prop rod, for fears of that. I thought of leaving it installed too, but have decided against that for the time being.

They come with a 3 year warranty I believe, so you might be able to claim it ! Or maybe I should have gone with the elite struts instead... I think they are stainless steel.
I might have to take them up on the warranty in the next couple of years. We shall see.
