For aanyone interested Redline tuning now has hood lifts for the 2014+ Kia Forte. Get rid of the awkward hood prop now on the car.
The plus have a 2 year warranty elite 4 year warranty. Those are nice and a cheap upgrade for some added convenience. Do you know if there are any for the hatch? I wouldn't mind installing some automatic ones but you're probably looking at $500+.
Also is it aesthetics differences between the PLUS and Elite? I like the blacked out ones in the PLUS anyway. Might order these in the summer when I can actually work on the car.
You need basically a 14mm socket and ratchet, or you can use a straight 14mm wrench, couldn't be simpler a 15 minute job. They don't sag I had a set on my 2010 Mazda3 for 4 years and they worked just as good when I traded as when I first put them on.Hey Rick, what tools do you need to install this? I Like the luxury look it gives the car. Will these sag over time? Did you take out the manual prop?
Looks nice. Will be ordering myself a set when I get my car back.
