Originally known as itsjustme but that name is compromised you might say. A little background about myself, I have been building
cars, trucks and boats both as a job and a hobby. Everything from 4wd trucks for sand drags to being a crew member for a local
Nascar Series team now referred to as K&N Pro Series East (super late model in local track terms), my part was suspension and
brakes specialist. I am not as young as most on here are but when it comes to understanding cars I can usually hold my own. Everyone
has there own opinion about what they think works and what doesn't so for the most part I am going to remain in silence unless
I have good news, new product information or something along those lines. I have helped others with projects in the past and will
continue to do so if asked through PM's and not an open thread. Opinions on mods you have done or are thinking of doing can be given
by so many other members mine would be irrelevant, if you want opinion PM me and I will be honest. That being said this is a wonderful
way to get and share information with others and am glad to be back.

and for those that this concerns: I'M REALLY FREAK'IN SORRYand I mean that

I don't have a car lift so good pictures of the exhaust are hard to get.

I would like to have mine with just those muffler tips. Damn that's sexy
Honestly I have right at $172.00 in making the the tips but I got the look I wanted.
So, pardon my ignorant question, but it really looks like you're double muffled? Or are those just resonators before the tip? Beautiful work either way, and I'm glad you're back on here because there holes in many older threads where your posts are no longer (so maybe I can PM you to fill in the gaps. :))

Yes they are just resonators, they serve 2 purposes one they fill in the area behind the 4" tip that was visible around the tip and also from the side. I didn't like the way it looked going from 2.5" to just the tip. Second they help with the sound while at full throttle. The Dynomax VT has a valve internally that opens under heavy acceleration making it more of a straight thru muffler. The end sound is not quite as loud but real close to what my goal was (V12 Maserati Grand Turismo S).

PM away if you like.

Is there a video of this somewhere? I like the idea with the muffler, is it quiet at idle? I leave for work early and master bedroom right above garage too so I don't want to wake up my wife and neighbours when I leave but would like the car to have some more grunt at WOT.

Now that I am home I can post a few more pictures, these are the IC's I have used.
This first one is what is back in my car for the second time, when I sold my FMIC kit I had a Mishimoto installed and the good old back up was at the house.

This is the current one being modified. I brought the 90 in much tighter to eliminate
the offset in the cold pipe that was needed to clear the core support. Before I could finish
the welder ran out of Argon.

When it comes to piping it all gets routed close to the same way, so no matter which setup you look at they all accomplish the same thing.
Just remember the shorter the pipe and the less bends the better off you will be.

@rick021808, Here is a cold start for you, with a few 4000 rpm revs nothing to high since the engine was still cold. Hope you have good speakers lol

That looks and sounds super sweet!
Welcome back.
I'll listen to it later at home on the computer. Thanks for posting a video.
Sounds almost as loud as the cars with straight pipes.... sounds really good though....
