Hello everyone... New to the Forte but not to Kia.

Went and traded in my 2013 Optima for the 14 Forte5 and got my wife a 14 Soul. Fell in love with it when I saw it. Did everything without even a test drive LOL. Went and drove right before signing and was so glad I started the paperwork. All the employees were scoping it out since it was the first one in town.

Silver on Black. No fancy upgrades from the factory but I've already done the vent to atmosphere on the BPV and added a sub to it. Will be doing a SRI/CAI ASAP.

Thanks everyone! Glad to be here. I've always found that the forums specific to the car tend to help loads when modifying or repairing things so I should be fairly active on here :)

Good and bad news gentlemen...

Went to the dealer yesterday to get my misses a Soul Exclaim and trade in her base model. Well they talked me into a Cadenza. They through a deal out that was too good to pass up and I had to grab it. 10k off the MSRP and paying off my trade-in...

So unfortunately, I'm no longer in a Forte5... I did make sure to tuck the ForteTurbo.org stickers away in the console so that hopefully the next owner sees them and joins the board. I appreciate all the fun and knowledge from here, but a family car seemed like a good idea since we're trying to have a baby.

You want an intake for it? I'd like to make products for that car too!

Uh, yeah? lol What do you need from me? It's a pretty short intake. About a foot and change.
If you don't mind sending some bright and clear pictures of the bay and fairly close to the intake, that's a start.

Ideally, I need a car in my possession. When things settle down with the forte parts I'd like to rent one for a weekend or find a local who owns one.

Yeah, the main one I've found is Kia Cadenza Forum All the vendors on there are originally Optima vendors. They're all piecing parts together that cross-fit.

It'd be nice to have a true Cadenza vendor. I'll get something together for you as soon as I have a chance. Probably not til next weekend. I leave to California to visit my daughter in two days and doubt I'll have time before then. Worst case, I'll get you a piece of styrofoam and cut it to the same shape as the OE and you can make a plastic mold from it or something to have a base. It's only about a foot long.
