Hi all,

Stumbled across this site in my search for performance mods.
Bought a 2014 Pro Ceed GT 6MT in Black.
Tire Wheel Land vehicle Vehicle Car

Currently pretty stock, have recently done the i/c resonator delete and turbosocks BPV re-route mod.
I have a HKS SSQV and adapter as well; but realize this is not a straight fit!

Looking to free up the exhaust system soon and buy a 6th ELEMENT CAI kit too; then a DTE-systems tuning box and some aftermarket rims. Hoping for something matte black, dished and perfect offset like XXR 530, 527 etc
Although I do love the Cosmis XT-206R in 18x9 +33. 3mm extra internal clearance and a whopping 41mm extension (might be too much) :p

Will get some decent pics up soon.
I look forward to chatting.

Very nice mate. I've got a black Koup. I saw one of these at the dealership after I bought mine. Maybe I should talk to you about a swap for your old rims when you put your new ones on. I prefer your stock ones to mine. You're in Victoria?

So, just how similar are the Pro Cee'd GT and the Forte5? I personally LOVE the look of the GT, but I'm glad I have 5 doors.

I think it should be the same the hard points are the same as well as the fire wall.. really the only difference mite be the front crash bar on his will be smaller.. the us cars have a bigger one.. but his front bumper is just a stylized version of the base forte we get herejust with a different dlr running light fog light combo... your intake sits high enough that it should not get in the way of the wiring.. but you are rite.. you should post up a photo of your bay.. and a shot of the space behind your light... this car is either a forte set up or a veloster set up.. the front cross member should tell the tell.. just look for the placement of the intercooler in relation to the front member

Hi guys, thanks for the comments. i also much prefer this GT front than your US forte option as well. It is quite aggresive!

Norrie, yes I'm in Victoria and happy to discuss rims swap once i upgrade.

The engine bay is same as far as i can tell. Here are some pics with a ruler to show approx gap. Its more than 3" across in behind the HID's.
Also there is plenty of room in the well for a pod filter.

I think the front fire wall is more like the Veloster look how close it is .. but the pipes should fit.. i'm wondering how much room there is behind the fog lights and driving lights since its a different... do you have a flap inside of your air box..

hay take lots of photos of your ride inside and out.. we would love to see the differences in your car.. from ours.. stuff like the trunk and the muffler from under if you can do that.. photos of your breaks and back seats.. the glove box.. your car is the unicorn of unicorns in our group.. love to just have a gallery of stuff.. love that ride.. and do you have a plastic cover that goes over your motor.. like ours.. I can tell you it looks like you have the same plastic that coves your strut towers.. like our forte.. I would relay love to see your dash and head unit.. and where your usb and aux cables go.. im thinking of doing a proceed dash conversion

oh and if we could get a look at your rear suspension.. that would be awsome

one neat thing to look at is how his break stuff is on the opposite side than ours, him being a right hand drive.. I wonder how the steering rack looks

I'm very jealous of this version of the car. Love the looks of it. Let's all just get their numbers if we can

I believe they are on perhaps higher model tier. I know the kia on their luxury cars have them. I haven't seen any on the forte or their sun's yet. I'm sure they're bringing them around to all the cars soon

Thanks guys. I will try get you some more images of everything.
Yes there is a plastic engine cover as well.
And for my mind there is heaps of space in the inner guard behind the headlights (i can fist it easily)... Our RHD models are assembled in slovakia. Also, the 'ice cube' lights are Even better - they're daytime running lights so are on all the time. Plus adaptive HID's, plus lower foglights as well - its bright!
Overall it is very well specc'd inside and out.

Always been curious as to how similar the front of the car is to our Forte's (specifically the 5 SX in my case). I do like the front bumper / fender, specifically for the quad lights, which I think are used as DRL's. I'd rather have that over my fogs, which I've not used and likely wouldn't

Hi all,
I've just bought a procee'd GT in red (because red goes faster 😜) but still not fast enough . First thing I want to do is upgrade the front brakes , but I'm having trouble finding any parts for the Kia . However, I've found a few places that do upgrade kits for the veloster , will they fit the Kia?
Next question, does anyone have any other info on performance parts sites etc ?

Could be interested in the intake kit and FMIC . But, will they fit the proceed ? As you've only had them advertised for the forte .
Thanks for the info keep me updated with anything else you guys come up with .
Once the car turns up I'd say I'll be placing an order
