Today i did the longest trip i ever did on interstate i95 with my 2015 fote koup sx to drop my parents off at the airport its about 45 minutes away from where i live i got 33.9 mpg driving between 65 and 70 mph which is 3.9 mpg more then what the manufaturer says it can get, i was wondering if any one has been able to get more then 33.9 mpg on a highway ? I was using 93 octane is this reason i was able to get so much mpg

My best is 35.5 over 300 mile with a max of 62mph (state limit) average was between 50~55.
The Princess hwy is not the best for high mpg when compared to our inland freeways, the car can do better.

Maybe if I use premium instead of regular, with todays prices being
119.3 130.3 & 136.3 per liter it's 17 cents extra for premium.
I don't expect any mpg/cost benefit to be worth it.

Man my gas mileage has been on a steady decline since I bought the car. Started at 28 mpg and has gone all the way down to 20 mpg. It confuses me because I have really toned down my driving in an effort to combat this.

Check your throttle body. It could be dirty. I clean mine every oil change. Also check your plug gap.

I did a 370 mile trip one way and got a max of 33mpg with the a/c on and 3 adults in the car with luggage. I noticed once I changed plugs it got way better mpg
