So i had the car 4 days but i had not opened the hood or even driven that much.. With thanks giving and the weekend.. i was busy.. so open the hood for the first time.. and i see that i have a nipple on the intake tube near the valve cover that not connected to any thing.. i pull the plastic cover and there is a nipple on the valve cover.. my guess the breather valve.. so no CEl or dive issues.. i take it to Capital Kia.. and they look as shocked as i do.. put a new hose on and run a cpu check.. no issues.. at least i have it on record if something comes up down the road.. 200 miles and I'm at the Dealer already..

I remember doing stuff like that when I worked on motor homes. Used to "rob" parts all the time when there was a customer waiting. I've helped rob entire generators.

Don't feel bad about being back at the dealer that soon. I was back at the deal a hour after I took the car home for the BOV not working right

Yeah you can eventually get a catch can and have the line go to that and have a small breather filter on the can so it doesn't pull oil vapor into the intake

eh, Shit happens
I deal with this every day. Usually its an overly irate customer that can't understand that nothing in this world is perfect and shit happens.
