What's up everyone, been a while...

I have a new MAC wastegate solenoid on the way and an old boost controller laying around; does anyone know if upgrading to the MAC will allow the use of a manual boost controller? or will the ECU still be the controlling factor?

I've done a little searching around but couldn't find much on our platform. Some VT forums talk about it but I think a tune is the only valuable way to have some increase in boost.

Don't use a boost controller. Stock ECU will throw into limp mode at 21-22psi. You can even use the MAC solenoid on the wastegate. It helps with holding boost better and reacts faster just like it does with the BOV
