From what you are saying you sprayed the oily cleaner into the intake, right?
It seems like you did not exactly follow the instructions. See the part about bypassing the MAF sensor...
I am not certain if your car has MAP or MAF, but since they said honeycomb it could be MAF, although MAP could be there as well...
Anyway, either one can be cleaned. Or replaced.
MAF is quite expensive so I would rather clean it. Remove the intake part with MAF on it and nicely, gently wash it using correct fluid. Let it dry before using it.
MAP - remove, spray with cleaner, blow the excess out of it and put it back in. MAP is much more robust.
Finally, why did you do that in the first place? Was it needed?
If the car is under warranty, why not ask KIA?
