So I have this system installed on my car by the dealer that I bought it from. I am wondering if anyone else has this installed on their car and where did they wire it in at on yours. On mine the wired in is right under the fuse panel and the dealer I take it to says that it is tapped into the airbag system and that's causing my airbag light on the cluster to turn on and off. Also did anyone get any remotes with it? I didn't get any and figured it's all tied into the factory remote. I have never had this system so I am wondering what all this system does. Is it just a normal alarm or is it a GPS style alarm. It was thrown in with the car when I bought it and if it really doesn't do much I might just remove it.

Does your like come on and off at random times? That's what mine is doing and the dealer scanned it and said it's the front drivers side sensor. Just haven't taken it back to get fixed yet. Might be a common problem starting to arise.

Yeah it comes on and stays on for a few seconds then shuts off. And keeps repeating that. The dealer tried to blame the tune but I proved them wrong quickly and then they blamed the KARR alarm. Said the other dealer tapped into the airbag system for it and was causing the issue. They scanned it and they said it showed 28 codes! They even said it was because of the alarm. They also told me that my add a fuse hook ups could be causing it but I have disconnected those 2 and took the battery leads off and let it sit over night and the light came right back.

Is your car push button start ? I ask because why would a dealer put an alarm on a car that already has one that even includes an immobilizer . They wanted to put an auto start on mine and I said no because it would interfere . My sportage auto start doesn't even work right and that is a key start . I'm acctualy thinking of removing it if they can't fix it

Yeah it is the push button fully loaded version. They said it's supposed to have a GPS tracker on it if it ever gets stolen and it was thrown in for free. If it really is causing this issue I was thinking to unplug it from the wire harness and see what it does. My current dealer doesn't want to touch it because they didn't install it which I think is really stupid because it was installed from the dealership that I bought it and they sell the same system

Take that crap out . You could buy a GPS tracker from a spy shop that you just leave in the car . These cars hate to have the wire harness tampered with. This is why they won't even install the compass auto dimming mirror in them . If it's not plug and play its bad . Kills me they won't install the mirror but they run to install the auto start and karr systems . At my dealer they only install the karr on the key start cars and tell you no need for the push button because without the key the car will not start , not only will the started engage but the fuel system will not turn on

I am thinking about doing that today and seeing what happens when it is taken out. I wouldn't mind buying a GPS system that I can hide in the car and wire it in totally different and it not be apart of the factory alarm.
