I just picked up my 14 Koup SX 6 spd MT yesterday, On the bill of sale, it says color is metal, but looking online, it looks like Graphite Steel. It is a blast to drive, my previous car was a 2000 Cavalier Z24 5 spd(few bolt ons and sportlines/koni struts), its was a pretty fun car but was becoming unreliable and was time for something newer. I was originally looking at WRX's but any decent one was way out of my price range. I really liked the Koup's when we bought the Sorento so took a SX for a test drive and really liked it. Cant wait to get it broken in so I can open it up some more. Only 200kms on it so far. It seems to be getting pretty good mileage too, some mixed city/highway driving and doing some moderate acceleration(80% throttle to 4-4500k) it is averaging 7.8l/100kms (30MPG) not sure how reliable to computer is but my cavalier was getting around 11-12l/100km (19-21MPG)

Thanks alot, I actually managed to sell my cavalier the same day too so pretty happy, got $1100 with the winter tires, it needed a water pump and with 213000km, who knows what was next to break on the car. Going to see if our old mazda 3 winter tires fit (15" steels with same bolt pattern) probably tomorrow. Using a tape measure, it looks like there was maybe a 1/4" clearance but we will see. Might just try to sell them and get 16s.

They don't fit.... could get them on the threads but on a angle cause of caliper so I could see the odd 15" wheel maybe fitting but not mine so I guess I'll have to find some 16.

Just bought some winter tires tonight. Used core wheels with brand new studded winter force tires. Just test fitting them. I need centric rings I thought hub size would be good and I'd only need rings with the smaller 5x100 pattern.

So I washed my car yesterday and got some pictures of it finally. Unfortunately I ran over a nail yesterday but lucky for me, I bought 4 full size spare tires last week. Not a huge fan of the winter wheels but got a great deal on them and they look better than black steel wheels.

Weather is warming up and got the car washed today so I thought I'd take some pictures of it with the winter wheels on. Another month or two and they will be coming off and the stock 18s will be going back on.

That's the colour I would've gone with if they had it on the floor. Nice.

Yeah I really like the color. It was the only manual sx they had on the lot and only 2014 on lot as well. ($5000 rebate on 2014) so my options were limited but I think I would of picked this color anyways.
