Well the rim is pooched, but I can't see the tear in the tire at all. Any pic of that?

it is steel... easy to bend and then to fix
Use a hammer to bring it back to its shape. Actually, two hammers. One with end like shown below on the rim, other smashing the first one...

EDIT:
Guys, I really mean it. It is pointless to replace a piece of steel that is pliable and can be easily fixed, unless there is a crack. I fixed a quite few wheels like that. It does not even need heat and can be done with the rubber on. On the steel, I mean (that's what she said...)

I would replace the steel rim. I'm sure you can find one in a local junk/salvage yard.
If there a rip in the side-wall of the tire you know that's going to have to be replaced, sorry. :(

Could have been worse, could have been the stock rims or a nice set of aftermarket. IMO it was a good choice for winter wheels and lucky you still had them on.

the wheel can easily be repaired, as for the tire, i would definitely get a new one asap rather than risk a blowout on the freeway or something
