I noticed a couple members had a very small, sleek look shield that covers just the very front of the hoods. Angles it enough to keep rocks from hitting the hood. Where do we get these? I've noticed a few very small chips from freeway rocks. Easy to touch up and recoat but I don't want to have to keep doing that? Is that a third party item or can we get from the dealership?

I wished they had a shield for the whole front of the car. After just 2 weeks of driving in traffic with road construction the whole urethane bumper has taken a beating. Can't tell if it is poor adhesion to the urethane or they don't use a quality adhesion promoter and flex agent. I have hundreds of little 3mm black spots/chips and the clearcoat is missing in a 10-12mm circle around the chip.

Should have installed clear bra, it definitely works to prevent chips. I had it on my 2010 Mazd3 Gt for 5 years and never had a chip when I traded. That was the first thing I did to the Forte5.
