Hi. I'm about to pick up my first brand new car tomorrow. A 2015 Kia Forte Koup SX. Been wanting a turbo something or other since I had a turbo Plymouth Laser back in college. Right now, I'm coming from a 2008 G6 2.4l. Had Injen SRI, full custom exhaust, HID kit from DDM.

Can't wait to break it in some, and then start my mod path. Love what I'm seeing on this forum so far. It's great to see some support for this ride.

Take it easy.

West of Cleveland. I pick it up tomorrow after work, so I'll post pics when I can. I probably will start with a CAI, RES and muffler delete. Gotta find a decent shop around here for the exhaust bit. Then the 60mm throttle body, and the Tork tune after. Not sure if I will go with FMIC. I want to, but am waiting to see what my options are. Would like to do all 6th element stuff, but it seems as though the bigger ticket items are still in prototype phase.

Welcome!

We are working as hard as we can on the heavier hitting stuff.

Intakes/delete pipes are coming back in stock at the end of the month and the catch can kits will be rolling by august. FMIC shortly behind that. We don't like to rush products to market and you'll see why when you get your hands on them :)

Haven't gotten a chance yet to really take pics yet, but I snapped one last night when I picked her up. G6 on the left is what it's replacing. So far I am really liking the Forte. Car Wheel Tire Land vehicle Vehicle

Sooo, I ordered res delete, CAI, and vacuum block from 6th. A prosport performance boost gauge, and just got the muffler delete done today. I probably will gut second cat on my own, and if it's not loud enough, I'll remove stock resonator..

Has anyone done a magnaflow glass pack in place of stock resonator, and if so, how do you like results? I like the improved sound of the muffler delete to straight pipe, but don't like that I can't really hear anything on hard acceleration.

The Koups are quiet when it comes to the exhaust. If you want more sound in the cabin lay the back seats down. If you also plan on doing the DP wait before doing much more to the exhaust. The DP changes everything, even with a Dynomax VT muffler on mine it is way to loud. There is so much base in the exhaust on startup I rattle the neighbors windows (it's apartments so it's not just one neighbor lol). Working on installing a Vibrant Ultra Quiet resonator to see how much it gets toned down and then replace the VT with a Magnaflow.

I have a full straight pipe with cat delete and res delete done. I can tell you she is LOUD! Cold start is crazy and then calms down and when you need to get up to speed a little quicker you really hear it. Under WOT I just hear the rush of air coming out of it. Sounds crazy

Instead of the vac block like you got I tapped into the line above the TB. When I had the vac block on I saw my iat's go way up because the block is aluminum. Once I took it off I dropped 40-50*. You may be fine though if the weather up there isn't to hot like where I am at

Heh, I set a car alarm off at the park at the lake tonight.. So I may hold off until I get a down pipe. So the vacuum block raises temps bad? Damn. Now I kinda wish I didn't order one. Hopefully it isn't too bad. Maybe 6th should come up with a piece of delron or something you can put between the block and the engine mounting point like on my ecig RDA's.

It can raise Temps if your in stop and go a lot and in a hot climate. It's a really good block. The biggest issue I have noticed is because the intake manifold is right in front of the radiator and when the fan kicks and forces all the hot air on the sensor.
