Hello all,

My name is Shaun. Today I became the owner of a new 2015 Forte5 SX 6MT in black. I have to say, I'm very impressed with this car and am excited at the possibility of tweaking it soon. I've always been a sport compact lover; my first car was a first gen turbo manual Eclipse, and I owned a 04 SRT-4 after that.

This car has been a while in anticipation. I've been driving my wifes Ford Freestyle for the past year after I rolled my 01 Blazer at highway speeds due to a driver more fixated on her cell phone than driving.

I had the dealership place Michelin Xice 3 snow tires on it straight off. I live about 40 miles north of Detroit and commute 80 miles a day to a job as an emergency department Registered Nurse, and peace of mind goes a long way when driving home at 4am. As it is currently snowing outside, I feel this was well timed.

Im just glad to be driving a car that is much more me after such a long time. This is the first car that I've had that I actually enjoyed driving in almost 10 years. Hope to talk with you all much more as time goes on.

Thanks,

Shaun

I took a few pics after driving home, so all I have at the moment are snow laden and in the dark. I was caught up enough with all the details at the dealership that it slipped my mind. Once I have some daylight and a clean car I will oblige.

Nice to see another F5 on the forum. Seems like everywhere else besides Cali is selling the F5 pretty well. Out here I have seen 1 and it was a base ex model. I have seen a few of the Koup turbos that were owned by the youngsters around here lol
