I installed my Nokya H11 (55 watts) arctic whites and really like them, but not that bright.
There better then the OEM which where kind of yellow to me.
Has anyone put in / use the stage 2 (80 watts) units?
I was wondering about the extra heat from the 80 watt bulbs.
I do like the quality of the bulbs a lot and the whole keeping everything korean.
Thanks

80 W might be too much for the projector housing to dissipate. Also, your harness will not like it.
Right now you pull about 4.5 A at 14 V. That makes the 55 W about 62 W (they are rated at 13.2 V, but higher voltage will increase current, what results in higher power)

If you put 80 W, it will pull 6.5 A. Only extra 2 A, but that might be a lot to handle. Fuse I think is 15 A.
I would say no.

Finally, you may damage the mirror on the projector. Extra heat will cause to loose the luster and become yellowish... what will result in poorer output. Irreparable.

Is the fog light the same h11b style or are they different? If so what are they?

The Nokyas were popular on the Mazda forum with my old car (2012 MZ3).

People had issues with the Stage 2 melting the headlight housing and harness

Even with the "heavy duty" aftermarket harness the bulbs would still melt the wiring.

Stick with the stage 1s to be safe. I was never impressed with them though.

Thanks to everyone's help with the info and suggestions.
I'll keep it this way for now.
I did buy the Nokya yellow H11B for the fog lights. I'll install them next time when I do the oil which will be soon.
Thanks again
