I'm looking to add gauges to my car but not sure which gauge pillar will fit the 2015 forte model, any suggestions? I'm also wondering are there any out there that don't require drilling into the pillar, I'd rather have one that sticks on..?

That might not be a good idea since most have an airbag in the pillar. Might be a little painful having a set of gauges smack the side of your face in a accident. Not that it would actually happen but the chance is there.

I have a prosport boost Guage and have it mounted right next to my driver tweeter. When I bought the pod it came with a basic mount for it and it's been working really good so far. For me since I use the center part of my Guage cluster for some of the features I mounted it on the dash. Also makes it so I can see the boost at the corner of my eye and can watch the road better instead of looking down.

Guy at work made his own pillar pod. Took a factory pillar and a cheap pod and fiberglassed them together and painted. Turned out decent for a first time using fiberglass. Will note. There are not many factory new pillars available in the country that can be had.

It actually wasn't that hard to do. I took a 3 pod pillar from Glowshift and cut it into individual pillars. After test fitting it, i used epoxy to glue the pods were I wanted them. I then used bondo and began sanding the crap out of it to smooth everything out. This was the hardest and most tidiest part. After i finally got it to how i liked it, I then primed and painted. The end product actually looks pretty good! I'm thinking in the future I may attempt to wrap it in carbon fiber or possibly paint it Teal to match my teal accents.

I was thinking of wrapping mine in carbon fiber. But I think that would be hard with the pod sticking out the way it does.

I think it would be much easier if you could wrap the pods individually before you glued it to the pillar but that wouldn't work unfortunately. Our pillars are designed so weird that it is impossible to do all 3 next to each other, that is why i ended up going with 2 on top of the pillar and 1 stand alone near the bottom.

Ok guys! I talked to Erika at Ortiz custom pods Ortiz Custom Pods - Ortiz Customs Home and they are up for making the pods for us. They say it will take 4 weeks to be built and shipped to each person and shipping is free. The price as of right now is $130 for either a pillar mount or a clock mount. If I can get 10+ people interested in a setup then she said that we can possibly get them cheaper. So check out their site and see what you think and you will see the clock mount for the older Forte. If your interested PM me and I will write your name down and when we get to 10+ people I will email her back and see if we can get that discount before everyone pays. I will also get the payment info from them so everyone can send them payments along with which one they want.

I am just trying to get enough interest in this so they know we are serious about getting pods for our cars. Also when you pm me let me know if you have a Koup or 5 since the pillars are different so I can let them know how many of each. This is for them to get a idea of how much in demand and if they will give us a discount for a mass buy. Color matched pods are $15 more

Also international orders have a small shipping fee and trying to get pricing on that.
