I did searching around and I believe the SX optima front rotors are bigger yet than our SX front rotors... so a caliper swap would have to be done, but I believe there is someone on the veloster forum that has done that already

what did the upgrade cost.. where did you find them. have you tried them, out.. do they clear the stock wheels.. and break noise or excessive dust after the change over..

cool. I was doing some comparing before and I am wondering if the optima SX's bigger caliper and rotor will fit the FT

so there may be a chance that the SX brakes could fit... there is a VT person that allegedly put SX brakes on his VT, its not a dramatic chance, like a 3/4 of an inch difference, but anything can help

good looking out.. small slotted rotors are always a must.. our cars are a bit heavy.. every bit helps..

Yes thats the kit. Unless your doing auto x or drag these really wouldn't be needed. A good set of pads like EBC or HAWK and some nice cross drilled and slotted rotors would be perfect for most people

Odds are, you guys have the same brakes as us, which means the Ksport BBK will work, both the 6 and 8 piston variants.

Check this out on my customer in the Philippines :D


so where can I get those rims.. and where can I buy the break upgrade that is not in the above photo.. where do I get it web pages are what im looking for..?

Just wondering, do you guys have any reason for upgrading the brakes? I haven't had any problems with mine but they are also less than 2500 miles broken into, so they might not yet be a problem, if they turn into one that is. Also, I don't/won't track my car until I pay it off, so maybe my question only applies to people who need the heavy braking constantly.
