Most likely, Kia only increased the front rotor size for the SX and kept the rear size the same across all trims.

The stock front rotors are .8 inches bigger on the SX than other Forte models.

I did searching around and I believe the SX optima front rotors are bigger yet than our SX front rotors... so a caliper swap would have to be done, but I believe there is someone on the veloster forum that has done that already

what did the upgrade cost.. where did you find them. have you tried them, out.. do they clear the stock wheels.. and break noise or excessive dust after the change over..

It has been confirmed the pierce motorsports carries slotted and drilled rotors for us. They are the same as the veloster

so there may be a chance that the SX brakes could fit... there is a VT person that allegedly put SX brakes on his VT, its not a dramatic chance, like a 3/4 of an inch difference, but anything can help

What's a setup like that cost? Rotors/brake upgrades. I couldn't find pricing on their official website.

For a BBK kit its around 1,000-1,200. Look at peirce motorsports he has a kit that will fit

I don't see anything listed on their website for the 14-15 Fortes. I'm assuming most products that works for the VT will work for the Turbo Forte?

For $1200 is that wouldn't make a bad deal. I wouldn't mind 6 pistons. Are the stocked 4pistons?

Yes thats the kit. Unless your doing auto x or drag these really wouldn't be needed. A good set of pads like EBC or HAWK and some nice cross drilled and slotted rotors would be perfect for most people

Just wondering, do you guys have any reason for upgrading the brakes? I haven't had any problems with mine but they are also less than 2500 miles broken into, so they might not yet be a problem, if they turn into one that is. Also, I don't/won't track my car until I pay it off, so maybe my question only applies to people who need the heavy braking constantly.
