BTRcc Custom Dyno Tune 1.6T

Run performed on a 45 degree bend highway on ramp because I live in an area with traffic cameras every few blocks.
Straight line performance would obviously be better.

@ Ragg, I've asked them to consider it.

@ Itsjustme I'm calling BTR about my spare ECU tomorrow, I'll ask if a your FMIC upgrade is kosher with the tune and report back. Maybe we won't have to reinvent the wheel and you can just swap your ECU for a pretuned one.

Good news/Bad news
So I called BTR, ECU pricing is $400, so half price from Korea!
The good news is that BTR product manager Sam said that making a canned 1.6T Forte tune is definitely a market they want to get in to and they are working on it.
The bad news is that because the way that KIA has laid things out, it currently isn't possible to make a canned tune.
Silver lining, they will continue to work on it, and he said that it might be ready sometime after SEMA, so maybe as early as next month!
I'll continue to follow this for you guys, help me drum up as much interest as possible to help push this down the pipeline.

I hope that there's an event sometime around the South East as well. I'm in AL, and I've emailed about every shop in a 100 mile radius, and I've only gotten a reply from one so far who said, "Unfortunately there isn't any software that I am aware of for the Kia. Without a tuning software I would be unable to make a tune for your application." Sooo. I'm not having any luck yet up here in AL/TN.

Dang your forte is quick man! I noticed the wheel sing was similar with and without traction control in your videos.

I'd like to compare this with the tork dyno sheets.

The tork tune is probably a bit faster because of more boost than what the btr gives you. If I remember right a VT had their canned tune and it peaked at 19-20 where the tork peaks at 21-22 and will hold that till 6k unlike other tunes where it falls off around 5k

Not even a fair comparison with BTR at 198 WHP and +21 WTQ and the Tork stage 1 is 224 WHP and 222 WTQ on a bone stock Forte.

From what I was told by john I have no top speed limiter anymore. Not sure since I have really no place to get to that speed safely around me
