I recently traded in my 08 Mini S that I bought new and ran ethanol free in it quite often. And when I did I got 2-3 mpg better mileage. And it seems like it had a little more power as well. It has gotten hard to find and here is a website that lists all the stations in the US that carries it Ethanol-free gas stations in the U.S. and Canada I've only had my SX5 three weeks and have run a couple of tanks of it and it seems like I gained a couple mpgs. It's a bit more expensive but I think it burns cleaner.

So there wouldn't be a huge difference then in trying say 100oct? I know there is a station that carried it but it's like 8.99 a gal

100 octane isnt what he was talking about, he was talking about 92-94 octane with e0 instaead of the e10-15 most pumps are.

On a stock tune there wouldn't be a whole ton of gains by going to 100 octane. In fact on my car I ran an entire tank through of some 101 for an experiment the ecu was not happy and by the time it started adjusting and running properly it was time to refill. So unless you run it for awhile there would be nothing.
