Alright guys I am going to just type this for now and get pictures tomorrow when I get a chance.

First what you want to do is if you are sending your ECU in to get tuned is you want the car in a safe spot. Then if you have a Koup roll your window down a little so it doesn't get stuck. The F5 guys don't need to worry about that.

Next set is pop your hood and look at the battery. The ECU sits right behind it. You will need to take a 10mm socket and take off the NEG - cable first then take off the POS + cable and make sure they are off to the side. Then look right in front of the battery and you will see a bolt that is holding down the metal piece that locks the battery in place. I believe it is a 12mm socket with a extension to get to it. Remove that bolt and take them both out and remove the battery.

Look at the ECU harness and there should be on each plug a little handle that raises up. Lift each one and you will see the harness lift up off the ECU pins. Look to the right side and you will see that there is a wire being held on by a plastic wire holder that is mounted onto the ECU frame. You will need needle nose plyers to squeeze the clips on the other side to be able to push it through the hole.

You will see 3 10mm bolts that are holding the ECU frame in place. One right on the strut tower and 2 on the bottom. Remove those 3 bolts and easily take the ECU out. On the ECU you will see another 4 10mm bolts that hold the frame to the ECU. Remove those and your done!

Install is in reverse order.

Again I will have pictures tomorrow. It got to dark today and I have to charge the battery for the camera
