Hi all, I am a veloster driver and I custom build veloster headlights. I have recently got into doing forte headlights. I have 1 spare set of headlights to use as loaners. Once I am done with my current forte light job I will be offering to do others. Www.facebook.com/thatlightguy

I was wondering about when you'd end up here! Can you post some pics of your Forte work?

What options do you offer customers? I'd like to get some things done one day!
I'm trying to post some pics but it won't let me. For now check out my facebook page and IG #that_light_guy
I will offer any custom paint, retro fit led mods and any of the exled products intalled
You can have my first born for some of those R2D2 themed lights on your facebook! Thanks for taking an interest in us forte guys.

Thumbs up with some good work. Personally I'm ok with my lights. I would probably be looking for an hid retrofit.

Welcome aboard again.
I would like to do full black out and price to do it

To open and do any custom paint is $250 for both. I also double seal them. I reuse the OEM seal, add butyl where needed then after its pressed together I seal the seam with ultrablack gasket maker. I also put desiccant in then to absorb moisture.

I long does it take to get it all done
Can you smoke the lenses from the inside without using a stick-on method?
I will let this slide for right now until I can talk to Nick to make sure he will allow this thread to continue. Not trying to be a ass or anything but I will see if we can work something out so you can keep posting your lights. We need more vendors involved for us forte guys

Is openING your own thread to sell stuff not allowed?

If your not a vendor and trying to sell a product yes. From what I am told you need to be a vendor to sell a product. Regular items that you don't have multiples of is fine. That's why I said I am going to talk to nick and see if we can do help him out because we need more vendors that have products for us.

I am more than happy to help him in anyway possible so he can sell his product here. I have already talked to the OP on instagram about helping him.

Thanks for clarification. That will be useful info for anyone who wants to maybe sell on here in the future.

Edit: Also, it makes sense and is respectful to your vendors to not just allow anyone to sell as they please so way to prove that Nick chose well.

it cost money to be a vendor here even tho I would be providing a service for your community. I appreciate that you want to help me help you. if their are enough forte people interested in working with me then it would be worth the money. otherwise I can stick to the 100+ customers I have gotten from instagram and facebook for free. I understand that their are rules to these forums and I don't mean to disrespect but im not selling anything I am telling people that I customize headlights.

tinting from inside the light would be a bad idea because you can get in trouble with the law about it and you would have to pull the light apart to remove it.

normal custom paint jobs can be from 2 - 4 days depending on how busy things are.
