So I was just wondering, as I just changed the regular bulbs on my ol Saturn to LED's, could we do the same to a Forte's dash LED's and change the colour?

It would be really cool to match LED's with a colour theme!!

Has anyone removed the cluster and done any inspecting?

Haven't ventured into lighting mods yet. Those blue dash LED's would be sick though! Interested to see if anyone has done interior lighting mods. I know there are some retrofit HID's on here so surely someone has done interior lights.

Yeah! Thats what I was hoping!

From videos I have seen, I am assuming that the Dash lights are LED's already, so it shouldnt be too hard to switch out.

They may be leds on a board so you may not be able to change them

Not a problem if you are talented with soldering, desolder the existing and just get some individual RGB LEDs and solder them in using the 2 contacts that give the color you want (red, green or blue). The full spectrum won't be there unless you fully modify the board to 4 conductors to each LED and install the RGB module.

There used to be a company in Texas that would swap out leds on switches, ac controls, clusters, even clocks which were a big pain in the subaru community.

But they don't seem to be around any more
