Yup, my car was keyed today. I seen the person that did it but did not actually see him do it. But he made a comment suggesting he would do so. Anyways, this is probably a stupid question but, when I bought my car I remember them saying something along the lines of fixing holes/scratches and anything other than a bullethole is how he said it. Do you think they would fix this for free? Or is that hopeful wishing? If not, do you have any suggestions on how to fix it or make it less noticeable. I can not upload a picture at the moment and the one I have you cant see much. But it is above my front passenger tire on the fender. The first inch is rugged from the key and it extends to my headlight but the rest is just white with the paint coming off so I think that will come out with a scratch remover? And it continues ON to my headlight about 4 inches and feels deep. Or at least deep enough the feel it. I don't think that will come off...

Any help/suggestions are appreciated! I'm so upset and pissed.

file a police report and have to go through an insurance claim.

if you havent washed the car, the police may try to see if they can find any latent prints on the car left from the perp

I called my insurance e and they said they will cover it under comprehensive. But have to pay $100 deductible and my policy could possibly increase bc filing a claim. I have to talk to my local agent tomorrow to find out exactly if it will go up. This sucks!!!

Well I contacted my local agent and they said my insurance will not go up, thankfully. But I do have to pay a $100 deductible. Which sucks. I'm not in any rush to get it fixed. The more I look at it the less I see it (weird I know) but when I look for it I can't even see it until I get up on it lol. I will be getting this fixed but not in a rush for tomorrow or anything.

But I will not forget the mans face that did it, and if we run into each other again, it will not be a nice conversation!

Not a nice conversation for him when you punch him in the neck.

Yeah. I had to take a dirt road to get somewhere the day before yesterday. Little did I know there was a 6" lip onto the pavement at the end. Took it as far at an angle as I could but still scuffed my bumper on the front left. Just can't help but mess up stuff here and there.

This is why we can't have nice things! lol

"Don't fcuk with another mans automobile"

If you damage your own car, fine, it's not great, but at least you did it. Someone else damaging it, especially keying it, simply is not on. Some people have no respect for other peoples items.

its amazing how people threat other people's things that they want to keep nice and tiddy... i take care of my wife's car and my car... she wants to drive my koup but i tell her no, then a week later with her optima she scrapes the front bumper on a parking stopper and then hits a tire on the road and then i have to buff it out of the rocker cover and she still wonders why i dont let her drive my koup lol
