Hey Guys
I have been searching and have had no luck. I Do not car for the BPV system that Kia has put together, I am a big Fan of the sound of a good Blow off valve or at least a Good sound plate. I did find a lot of Sound plates by HKS and Torcan for the Optima but can't seem to find anything for the 2014 T GDI hatch. The only thing I have found is a HKS Blow off valve system with insert but it will for sure void my warranty and I will also have to get a full tune for it to function properly. I really just need a good sound plate or just a valve with a light spring so I can get the sound I am looking for.

If you want to hear the valve you don't really have to buy anything. You can remove the hose between the intake tube and the valve with no side effects.
Our cars do not use MAF sensors so no tune for venting the valve is needed.

You can also buy an intake system. Pretty much any of them will make the stock valve very audible.

If you want a replacement valve, only two exist as bolt-on. TurboXS and Forge Motorsport. You should be able to find those threads featuring them on this forum.

Hope this helps!

Like 6th said; vent your bpv to atmosphere and plug the intake where the hose would go. I still have the stock bov and it sounds great!

I have an SRI from 6th and that definitely takes the sound to a whole different level. Only a couple hundred bucks too.

If you want to go cheap, just vent your bpv lile 6th said. You won't be sorry.
Thanks Guys this answers all my questions. I did not realize maf was not used. My fear from doing this originally was have some code thrown. As you may be able to tell before this I only messed around with Honda's and they throw code no matter what you do. The Kia thing is a very different world for me and I am learning all over again. Glad I bought the car so far though. Thanks so much for your help with this. I will update tomorrow
My hose has been off for 35,000 miles with no codes.
Could you guys post a picture of what Hose to remove
These guys are right on where to take it off. Just make sure like they said to cap it. If you take the hose off totally from the BPV it will sound louder and cleaner.
What's the size cap to get?
So I removed the Hose and you all were correct it sounds great. I will more than likely pick up a actual bov in the near future but this will do for now. for those of you who asked the size of the cap. I used a Delete plug 5/16 I believe. I had to stretch it a little but it fits tight. I also put the ringlet from the hose on it to secure it a little better. If you need pictures im me and I will be glad to send them over.

Did you take the hose off the BPV also? If not take it off and the sound will be a bit better and louder.
Does anybody know what the little 90* nub is on the intake just below where the stock recirculation hose connects?
You can see it just below the capped line on shaggers picture.

I think that this is just another resonator to reduce noise; I actually just removed this yesterday and blocked it off with a black plastic 1" BSP threaded plumbing cap.
It is a good, tight fit without the hose clamp - which by the way is very highly tensioned! mine slipped out of my pliers grip and went like a bullet into the side skirt:mad:
I would recommend the K&N Typhoon intake shielded system with Torcon plate.. my friends have that configuration and its sounds great. Most people are asking for Carb exempt stickers in CA from intake companies saying they fell off so at smog the exempt stickers there for easy smog. (Might be CA only )

Are the K&N intakes for the turbo F5 and Koup carb legal? I know K&N has a variety of intakes for Kia and Hyundai that are but didnt think that was one of them!?

Edit:

Just checked and they are NOT carb legal for the 14-16 turbo Forte's
