Blacked Out Tail lights.

Ok, so I've been looking into cosmetic stuff and my forte is aurora black. Been picking a color theme and I'm probably going to go with a 90% black, 10% red look. Probably red broken k badges. Going to plastic the chrome pieces and was looking at blacking out my tail lights.

My only problem is I am infatuated with the led lights in the back. I was wondering if you guys would thing blacking out the rest of the light but leaving the led strip clear would look good? I run with my fog lights on all the time so the only scenario where the lights wouldn't be on would be parked. I am just wondering if it would look good.
