are the 2015 kia forte koup sx tail lights supposed to be like this, look at picture

today after I went grocery shopping I noticed that there was a piece of plastic chipped off the inside of my tail light, the other tail light has a piece of plastic chipped off it too but it is not as bad, is this normal or are my tail lights damaged ?

Even if it's common. Kia should replace them for free
