There are two things that bug me about my koup. First is the boot button. I keep my keys in my pocket when I'm home and I'm so tired of going outside and seeing my boot/trunk open. I'm sure it'll happen when it's pissing down rain at night some time soon. Second thing is people telling me I've left my lights on when I park and leave my car in an undercover car park.

Anything bug you guys?

What do you mean about the boot button? On the remote? Or do you have one in the cabin? My hatch only has the remote button on the key unless there's a button hidden somewhere...

Yeah, sorry. The one on the remote. It must go off when it presses against my wallet or other keys when I sit down. It happened the other day when I got into my car. I sat down and the boot popped up and I had to get out and put it down. Twice.

It bugs me that the stereo will not keep the last audio source selected when power up. Example; I have my iPhone connected via USB, I set media to iPod (yeah, I know :D), so I use that to play music. If I turn the car off then a) the stereo is still on (that's another annoying thing, I'd like to have an option to say if it stays on or powers off when engine is turned off) and b) when I come back to the car later and turn the engine on, the audio selection will usually be on SAT, I want to remain on iPod, so it is silent until I plug the iPhone in. I do not want it deciding to pick the last source before iPod and use that. Grrrr.

Yeah. My buttons are stupid too. I hear my car locking and unlocking constantly when the fob is in my pocket.

And yes.. It has to wait to connect to the iPod before it will register as an option so it goes straight to the last source before that. It's the only source it should do that with. It's stupid but I don't know of any car that operates it the way you'd think it would.

Agreed, same thing happens to me all the time and even the panic alarm went off when the keys were in my pockets....

Also, anybody had leds issue on their car yet ? I had a fog replaced because the leds were flickering and now half my rear lights bar leds are off. Geez.

Pulled out of the drive today in my wife's car and saw my boot open in the rear view as I drove down the street. So annoying.

I have the Koup and today was my first time driving in heavy rain. I found it very annoying that the rear windshield holds water even going down the highway making it impossible to see out of. I almost wanna say it needs a rear windshield wiper. Also whenever I hit a puddle it sounds like the water is hitting cheap plastic under the car with absolutly no sound dampering. The wet handling is average to below average. I went out to play a little and drift around the neighborhood but found it hard to bring the car back into control some of that may be part of the electric steering. Lol this completes my annoyance rant,

That's funny about your transit cause I traded my 2012 transit connect for the koup. I have the original tires still my car barely has 3k on it. I was being very aggressive to make it slide but I'm new to the electric steering it does not give me much confidence. I drove a solstice with power steering delete for almost a year as my daily so it's hard to compare anything to that. The under tray is pretty decent and you're right about the clips I broke half of them when I removed mine. I hated the horn so I installed a air horn next to the fog light close to the stock one. Lol it helps with the road rage if you know what I mean.

there are only 2 things that bother me... both are fit and finish... the trim around the shifter is warped slightly at the front left corner, cant see it, but i can feel it.

second if the headliner seems like someone squeezed it slightly at the passenger side rear corner so it has an indent at the c-pillar behind the rear passenger area. the rest of the headliner is fine, just seems like someone grabbed it wrong at the factory.

there are a few runs in the paint on the inner driver door and the trunk area, doesnt bother me, but makes my car unique i guess.

Okay so I need to update what bugs me..
This car has came with the worst luck ever. 2 days after purchase the rear tail lights were acting up like the top half would not come on sometimes so I had it fixed under warranty.. Well the problem is back and extremely intermittent and super annoying when I go to pump gas at night and notice my tail lights are all jacked up. Also this morning I woke up to find my windshield cracked all the way across totally split in half for no apparent reason. Oh yeah I forgot to mention the front passenger brake was totally disconnected when I got it back from one of the warranty repairs. This has been the worst new car experience ever just rolled over to 4k miles last night.. I'd be surprised if it makes it to 10k seriously.

That's a shame, hopefully your luck gets better.

aside from my initial 4th gear problem, this car has been exceptional. It is the most solid Kia I've ever driven. The engineers really tightened everything up, especially compared to my last Forte.

you can get a rear "sway bar" for a veloster and put it on the forte.... the veloster has the same rear suspension, so it should work. its on my to do list
