Amazing Smart Key

So I discovered that my spare smart key fob had accidentally made its way into a load of laundry.

I was horrified at this discovery and immediately went to see if it still functioned. Surprisingly, it worked perfectly!
I still put the key fob in a bag of rice to remove any excess moisture that may still be in the unit.

I once left my Sportage keys in my pocket and went in a pool. I got those out in an instant and the key never functioned again.
Either I was extremely lucky in this instance or our smart keys are remarkably durable.

Our stories sound so familiar
My wife washed her sportage keys and the instantly were done for
I washed my push button fob for my second optima and it was ok.
We are lucky because those fobs are not cheap!!!!

My fob popped the boot from my pocket recently and my boot was washed out thoroughly over night.
Is there a way to program the car to close the windows when you shut off the ignition? I recently came back from shopping horrified to discover I forgot the passenger side window all the way down.
