So what do you guys think of the 2017 model? I personally like the few design changes and of course that flat bottom steering wheel! Also getting Android Auto is great too.

I like it ! But the room for a front mount with that cover looks like it's going to take away space so none of the kits may work . My intercooler barely fits lol

You will need more then just the bumper. Headlights are different and possibly the hood and fenders. I prefer ours over this one. This one you can tell they are going for a more elegant look instead of sporty.

Will you stop being so negative? There is nothing you can't do with a sawzall, angle grinder, and body filler.

The only thing I like it the steering wheel. Front end looks ugly. And I don't care for the colour on the inside.. Will be at the auto show on tues so maybe in person it's not as ugly...

they did the same with the Hyundai's all the cars have the same front now . The i30 guys like it thought because unlike us where they took away the massive front grill they added one like the VT so it looks bad ass that all their cars look really aggressive . Kia doing the BORING optima make over killed the look :/ they should have just given the sedan our front end . Now that looks bad ass. In most asian counties the dealers offer the koup front end as an option

It would be nice to see how dual clutch works in this one.

I talked to a guy from KIA who said that Optima DCT is not much different from regular automatic. While comparing to, say VW DCT (aka DSG) KIA looks poor. What exactly he meant I do not know.
I am hoping to take one for a spin and compare DCT to automatic.

Honestly, I am a bit tired of the gear in M/T.
It would be fun if the gears were longer... but taking off from lights and doing it gently requires either shifts every 2 seconds or skipping gears (1-3-5)

Come on, bro.. you can't go to the dark side. I'm tired of shifting too sometimes. I'm considering an automatic for my next car.
