Wish I could have gotten 5% had to go with 15% to keep the coppers fooled.

Haha yea that sucks! If one pulled up beside me or I'm worried I'll slide my sunroof cover back. That lets in enough light.

35% is a waste. It looks barely tinted at all. Just my opinion though for sure. 27% is the legal limit here. I just roll my windows down when I notice cops. Thanks really don't seem to care though. I asked the guy after I bought my tint, how many people come back with fix it tickets and he said never. I don't fully believe him but it's one thing that makes me glad to be out of California. One of many things...

Yeah I got that hassle in Ohio where the limit was 50 which you can barely tell unless parked next to an untinted car. And they got anal about it I actually coming out to 47 or whatever when you factor in the factory tint. Still though I'm mostly in it for the heat rejection which even those ceramic based 80% films do a good job rejecting.

I'm in cali and never got pulled over for tint till I got this car. I don't worry since my neighbor works for the p.d and gets it signed off for me. My car has limo tint rear and 1 step down front and a shade of windshield tint also. I do it because my eyes are sensitive to the bright lights.

My suv I have had tinted for 5yrs and has never been hassled. I think most cops really don't care anymore because so many people have the fronts tinted now.

Ya it's silly! Around here they focus on mode important issues!
My Benz 25%/35%, getting that re-tinted. It doesn't block the sun what so ever.

hahaha this is so true! I do this all the time. I sometimes leave the cover slid back about halfway when driving through town so they can see me. The cops around here know me now ever since they pulled me over to mainly figure out what the car was lol. Now they see me and just waive usually lol

Thanks!! Only had it 9 days. I traded my 2011 forte5 SX AND thank god I did!! This cars amazing.

Your still tuning the ECUs?? Might look into this but I would prob have to plan it during a time when I don't need my car, prob take a few weeks for it make it you and back to me.

Currently I have ordered, BOV, intake from 6th, resonator delete from 6th and a throttle body spacer.

He still tunes. Mine is tuned by them. Where are you located that it would take a few weeks? Turn around is usually 3-4 days

You ordered a throttle body spacer? Its not going to do anything for this car. Best bet is to get a 60mm throttle body.

Yes I have catch cans. I have the ADD W1 cans. I got them before 6th came out with his. They are a must for our cars to keep all the junk out of the intake tract and the turbo. I do have pictures in my build thread of them.

Ya it prob wouldn't take that long. Was just saying worst case. Checked out your W1 cans, cool! The cars only got 600k so I'll be getting cans sooner then later.
