was the sender hooked up when you took the last picture?

At idle, the car should be pulling -15 to -21 in/hg. I see that gauge at 0.

    Which line did you tap?

Let us know what kind of PSI you're seeing at full throttle when you get the chance.... Apparently according to the velosters, they ae pushing 18PSI stock. I wouldn't think it would be set that high....i guess unless they were wanting to push the turbo (not to the extreme) to set the HP at 201.

I did have the vac line hooked Up in the picture. However, I have not been able to find and adequate vac line yet. The ones I've tried either pull vacuum and no boost, or boost with no vacuum. But with boost showing, the gauge showed 16psi. Now how accurate that is I'm not sure just because I haven't found a perfect vac line yet. It doesn't seem to have the same hook ups as the VT's from what I've found but I could be missing something. It is currently tapped in to the wastegate vac line into a solenoid.

Yea, if you have that installed using a line off the wastegate or turbo you're gonna have a bad time.

Best place is a line coming off the intake manifold or charge pipe between the manifold and intercooler. You will get full range reading from that. I saw on veloster forums they use a vac line coming off the throttle body. That could be an option for you until I can get this plate to market.

That was my next try would be the throttle body vac line. I cant seem to find many lines off the manifold in these cars. A mechanic at my work mentioned trying of the MAP sensor.

Yea, that's where my adapter plate will be going. The map sensor is directly bolted to the manifold. You won't have a line from that you can tap into.

I thought about getting one of the small LED numbered units, just so it blends in alittle more.... only issue is the cost... I think they are around 150$
