I have driven the Cold Air unit on my car through at least 20 heavy downpours without issue.
You are going to get into trouble when you try to drive thru 8" of standing water or more. If there is that much water on the ground, you need to wait until it goes down.

Of course! Place a pre-order, and a $20 discount will be applied and a filter will not be included.
We cannot guarantee another filter will fit with our pipes as the pipes are designed, so it's up to you to make sure the filter you want is the same size or smaller that the filter we include.

We can give you the dimensions of our filter for reference if you need them.

Yep! The CAI is just the addition of a coupler and pipe extension.

What exactly is the difference in having a SRI vs. a filter on the stock tube? Aren't they both sucking in warm air vs. the CAI? What would cause the SRI to produce more HP than a filter on the stock tube?

And also, do you just have it venting to atmosphere or is there a hook up somewhere on the intake?
    Thanks again!

Will you be offering an option to buy the individual extension to convert from SRI to CAI for those that just get the SRI at any point?

Here are a few reasons why our SRI will perform better than most filters ive seen people connect to their stock hose.

    - The filter we use is very large, it allows for maximum airflow.
    - the inner diameter of the stock tube is about 2.9 - 3" throughout. There are some spots where the molding gets even smaller.
Our 3.5" pipe stays smooth all the way to the turbo inlet pipe
    - there is also a small plastic tube at the end of the stock intake pipe, where the diameter gets pretty small too. That is another restriction we eliminate.
    - Pipe size and geometry play a part in the power an intake will make just as much as temperature does.
This is why our system will outperform a filter attached to the stock tubing.

Currently, the kits do not have a port to recirculate the blow off valve.
