Here is it, nations first 300 WHP stock frame turbo in action. We couldln't be happier with these results. Mods on the car, all from us at Tork Motorsports.
FMIC, BIG GULP 3.5" Intake, Downpipe, Full Exhaust, Dual OCC's, Check Valve, SST (super stock turbo), full SST tune (dyno obviously), fully built engine and cylinder head (stock cams and valves).
Boost levels are running at 23 spike falling to 18 psi at redline. Ignition timing peak at full throttle is 16 degrees. Running 93 octane with WOT AFR's at 11.6 to 1
Something to take note of. Look at how smooth the curve is. This is a 4th gear pull, and traditionally 4th gear pulls are a little choppy (see the factory 4th gear on the blue line). I spent hours upon hours smoothing the curve to deliver the highest level of refinement you can find for the car. Look at the competitors tunes, look at what the 4th gear pulls look like. You will see that they look choppy. What sets one tune apart from the other? Time, time spent with the car on the dyno and the street.
I am not one to gloat about results. But, we are 10 WHP short of the current big turbo record. Mind you, this is a stock turbo with a larger compressor wheel running similar boost levels. When a big turbo car can only make 317 WHP and we have a stuffed stock turbo making 10 WHP less... that should say something about the tune and components on the car.
We will be getting this car on the track soon, posting the 1/4 mile time and speed... this should be a record setting car.
What does everyone think about this one?
