The stock brakes are fine for daily driving or even some spirited driving but once you start modding, they could really use some improvements. I wont touch mine until they are worn out but when they need replacing, I will look for some hawk pads and powerslot rotors or something similar. They made a big difference on other cars that I have owned. I also have notice some glazing on my rotors so you can tell they don't like the heat and I dont drive as hard as some people. only 5000km/3000miles on my car too.

The stock brakes are OK at best. When I took it out to the autocross track I heated them up so bad you could smell them burning. Once you push them that hard it's time for a upgrade. I need to get ebc rotors and pads now

This has got to be the best way to buy custom brake setups yet. Build your own Big Brake setup rotor size, # of pistons in calipers, caliper and hat color, piston material, full or semi float, slotted drilled or both and it's not just for the front. They do custom kits for the rear also and you keep the E-Brake. Whole setup for my car front and back was $3100 with 14" front w/6 piston calipers and 13" rear w/6 piston calipers all hardware, brackets and stainless lines included.

Would the stock callipers accommodate the EBC colour stuff? They have some Red, Green and Blue I believe. Not sure what colours mean.

Yes they will. I believe you just use the veloster brake pads for it. Evilla Motorsports (aka Eli) also sells brake pads and rotors

Are you an American vendor? I want to order these to Canada.

    Also why was OP banned?

Shark Racing also has some drilled and slotted brake kits for the 2014+

    Kia Forte - Forte-K3 2014-2016 - Brakes-Suspension - Shark Racing

I believe that the rotors are the same as the 2013 Optima EX 2.5 liter
this is from the CarID site:

The pads are different part numbers but the rotors are the same... (BTW they also list EBC brake kits for our cars now...)
